Midseason Championships Give the Crossed Flags on 2025 at White Mountain this Saturday
/N. Woodstock, NH — The gates reopen at White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday night for one of the most important events of the summer schedule. Midseason Championships on Saturday, July 19 marks the halfway point in the season with double points on the lines for all divisions!
Quinny Welch is back where he feels most comfortable, atop the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Model standings. What Welch really wants though, is a win and what better way to get his first of the year than to stand tall as the Midseason Champion?! In fact, the top three in Late Model standings all remain winless this season, using consistency to make their way to the top.
Coming off their inaugural Fisher Auto Parts 100 last Saturday, the Flying Tigers continue to follow multi-time champion Shane Sicard on the leaderboard. Like Welch, Sicard is also hunting for win number one this season while Luke Peters is looking for win number three in a break-out season for the Groton, Vermont driver. Matt Potter and Logan Powers are looking to break their tied stalemate in third overall with each looking to earn the Midseason Championship honors.
It's been an impressive season so far for Tyler Thompson, McKenna Merchant and Donnie Baumgardner in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis. It seems the three have been switching podium spots these last several weeks as they track down the four-cylinder track championship. In the meantime, the three will have to fend off each other and the likes of Jacob Roy, rookies Jackson Hunt and Logan Farnsworth, JJ Goodbout and Jason Ball for the Midseason Championship this Saturday.
Twin segment competition has been hot and heavy for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models and the White Mountain Dwarf Cars this season. Defending champion Nick Miller has been the king in Mini Late Model action so far but the father-son Jacksons have been honing their segment racing skills as of late for a good charge to the front. Jason Wyman has also been strong in the Dwarf Cars once again but Dave Gyger, Jeff Ainsworth and Chad Dufour are among those sure to keep him honest in the Midseason Championship battle.
The Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division also returns for Midseason Championships this Saturday. While the division is not point-counting these youngsters are learning all they can behind the wheel and the Midseason Championship honors are not lost on them either!
