Kyler Davis and Kyle Willis First Time Winners on Midseason Championship Night

N. Woodstock, NH — A picture-perfect Saturday night greeted the fans and teams of White Mountain Motorsports Park for Midseason Championships! The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers kicked off the evening’s double point features with rookie Chris Moulton and veteran Mike Clark at the head of the field. Kyle Willis climbed up into second before taking the lead around Clark at the halfway point in their 35-lap main event. Even while the car grew looser underneath him, Kyle Willis prevailed to his first Flying Tiger victory over Cameron Ouellette and Mike Clark.
The New England Pro-4 Modifieds made their annual return to White Mountain Motorsports Park during the Midseason Championship festivities. Brandon LaVoie and Sophia Ashford brought the field to full power under the green flag just Ashford, ‘Fast Eddie’ Petruskevicius and Victor Cote piled up in turn two. Back under green, Brett Meservey found himself in the lead with a rear-view mirror full of Rob Richardi, Jr. Meservey’s lead went up in a puff of white smoke with just three laps remaining, leaving Rob Richardi, Jr. to claim the 25-lap win over Randy Clark and Josh Badack.
The Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models were next on track with rookies Andrea St. Amour and Tyler Thompson ready to take the field under the green flag. Thompson would take the lead in the high groove before defending champion Nick Miller took over on lap 5 just before Kodi Sabins and St. Amour made contact in turn one. The fight for second was the best on track battle with Thompson, Chris Moulton and Dustin Jackson duking it out to the very end. Nick Miller ran away happily with the 25-lap win while Dustin Jackson took second and Tyler Thompson rounded out the top three.
Chad Dufour launched away with the lead in the Caulder Construction Dwarf Cars with Ethan Tyrrell and Dave Gyger in tow. The caution free sprint saw Dufour take down his first win of the year with Gyger taking second and Tyrrell holding on for third.
The Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis were next up with Brett ‘The Jett’ Rowell keeping up with Jacob Roy as he fought JJ Goodbout for second. A busted hub in the back-up car for Tyler Thompson brought out the lone caution to re-rack the field with 10 laps remaining. On the restart Goodbout and Roy went doorhandle-to-doorhandle around the White Mountain quarter-mile before Roy took the full lead with two laps remaining to take the Midseason Championship over Brett ‘The Jett’ and Goodbout.
Multi-time King of the Mountain Stacy Cahoon and rookie Kyler Davis began the 50-lap Double Point Midseason Championship event for the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models. Cahoon and Davis would give way to fellow rookie Landyn O’Donnell with the field spread out before McKenna Merchant’s lap 31 spin to the infield. What followed was a pair of pile-ups, including a turn one jumble with O’Donnell coming down on Colin Cornell for a ten car spinning pileup. Back to green, Kyler Davis and Kasey Beattie put on the battle of the night, fighting side-by-side through the final ten circuits. Kyler Davis nailed down his first career Late Model victory over Kasey Beattie with Colin Cornell rounding out the top three.
