Flying Tigers Headline with Round #2 of Central Asphalt Triple Crown at White Mountain

N. Woodstock, NH — The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers are back in the hot-seat this Saturday at White Mountain Motorsports Park, headlining Saturday’s racing action with Round #2 in the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown Series!

After getting the season started just before rains fell hard over the North Woodstock highbanks on HK Powersports Opening Day, the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown is back to rock the house this Saturday. The extra distance showdown will once again pit White Mountain’s best against an onslaught of Thunder Road and part-time Flying Tiger teams at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track.

The invading, former champion Jason Woodard currently leads the mini-series standings while multi-time track champion Shane Sicard has just taken control of the local standings last Saturday. Add in Sam Caron, Matt Potter, Logan Powers, Brendan Moodie and Luke Peters, just to name a few, this week’s 75-lap affair is sure to be one to remember!

With Kaiden Fisher’s absence in a part-time schedule last week, 2023 King of the Mountain Kasey Beattie sits firmly atop the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Model standings but not for long. Beattie will make the trek along with Fisher to Autodrome Chaudiere with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour this weekend leaving Jaden Perry, Quinny Welch and Richie Brown to negotiate a new point leader this Saturday night!

Danville’s Jacob Roy leads the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini points chase after his third-consecutive top five finish in last Saturday’s Father’s Day 50 lapper. While Jason Goodbout Jr. and Tyler Thompson remain consistent in the points chase, young McKenna Merchant will be digging deep for redemption this Saturday.

The Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division will also be in attendance on Saturday. All the Mini Late Models are chasing defending champion Nick Miller while Lucas Sidney has claimed his role as King of the Kids. We have a feeling Owen Dupuis, Gracen Gorham, Madison Potter and Chloe Doyle may have something to say about four in a row for Sidney this Saturday.

Thunder in the Mountains returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday, June 21 with the second round in the Central Asphalt Paving Flying Tiger Triple Crown! The 75-lap extra distance showdown joins the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division and the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models with a 6:00pm Post Time.

Adult General Admission is set at $15, kids 12-6 are $5 with children 5 and under free! The Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) is also available for $30 on Saturday.

Don’t forget to also mark your calendar for next week with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour invading White Mountain Motorsports Park for the Thunder in the Mountains 200 on Saturday, June 28!
