Redemption on the Line at White Mountain Motorsports Park this Saturday
/N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park is ready to roar once again this Saturday night for 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Night. Thunder in the Mountains returns with a six-division card of no-holds-barred Saturday night racing at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track!
The 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models may have some unfinished business from last Saturday. Quinny Welch and Mike ‘Beetle’ Bailey dove down neck-and-neck to the line with Welch earning the win by the tape on his bumper while the rest of the field was still recovering from a lap 43 melee. Kasey Beattie and Kyle Goodbout are looking for a good run for their season-long standings while rookies Luke Shannon and Landyn O’Donnell are among those looking for an up-front finish after wrecking out last week.
The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers are back to normal distance this Saturday with just 35 laps on the board. After claiming the $2,000 winner’s purse and the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown last Saturday, Luke Peters holds a commanding 51-point lead over Cameron Ouellette in the track championship chase. Ouellette, Owen Cheney, Shane Sicard and Mike Clark are among the top runners looking to take their first win of the season this Saturday.
Donne Baumgardner leads Jacob Roy by ten points in the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis going into this Saturday’s 25-lap feature. Roy had a rough outing last week with the handling all amiss in the #11VT Cavalier but he’s no doubt had his head in the notebook this week. Brett Rowell and JJ Goodbout are still in the hunt for win number one this season and very well could grab the checkers on Saturday.
After a wild outing last week, the Crown Vics return once again this Saturday for another 25-lap feature to round out the evening’s racing action. Milton, Vermont’s Mike Slingerland ran away with it last week, leaving the field to go all out around the White Mountain highbanks. Perhaps most thrilling was Todd Derrington. The former Strictly Mini and Flying Tiger standout purchased the car last week, ran it for the first time Saturday and drove up to a second-place finish with the biggest smile in the pit area!
The NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros also return to White Mountain on Saturday. The Legends have been an exciting mixed bag of drivers all season long with no repeat winners so far in 2026!

White Mountain Motorsports Park is back in action this Saturday, August 15 with six divisions on tap for 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Night. The 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models, Farmyard Store Flying Tigers, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis, Crown Vics and the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros all return to White Mountain for a 6:00pm Post Time.
Grandstands open at 3:00pm with Adult General Admission set at $15, Kids 6-12 are $5 and Children five and under are free! The Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) will also be available for $30.
