ProTruck Challenge Series Invades White Mountain for Inaugural Northern 55
/N. Woodstock, NH — After another stellar Milton CAT Midsummer Classic weekend, the weekly warriors of White Mountain Motorsports Park are ready to continue their track championship seasons in earnest this Saturday. The Pro Truck Challenge Series invades White Mountain’s highbanks for the first time in series history this Saturday for the Northern 55!
The Pro Truck Challenge brings grassroots truck racing to New England race fans and they will finally make their White Mountain debut this Saturday with the Northern 55, round four of five in their Speedway Series. Points calculated at three Thompson Speedway (CT) events, their Northeast Classic 25 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the Northern 55 are all tallied for a $10,000 point fund! Jason Paquette leads the Pro Truck Challenge standings but Duane Knoll leads the Speedway Series charts as they both enter the unknown of White Mountain this Saturday!
The 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models also return after a weekend off with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invasion. After licking their wounds from a busy July, the Late Models return for their 50-lap trophy dash as the ranks look to topple Quinny Welch’s place atop the point standings. Even after missing two races and having to call in Brandon Gray to substitute for him while committed to the ACT Tour, Kasey Beattie continues to climb the hill in second and take his second King of the Mountain track championship in 2025!
After a rough and rowdy affair last weekend, Shane Sicard saw his point lead dwindle down to just twelve points ahead of former Kids Division standout Luke Peters. The Groton, Vermonter has seen great improvement in 2025, earning his first Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger victories at both Thunder Road and White Mountain Motorsports Park while also having his best points run to date. Logan Powers has also climbed back into the top three championship chasers and looks to continue his good luck at White Mountain on Saturday.
The Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis continue to chase Littleton’s Tyler Thompson for the top seed while Jacob Roy, McKenna Merchant and Donnie Baumgardner continue to be Thompson’s biggest thorns. The four seem to swap places among the top three podium finishers week after week, leaving most behind to fight for the scraps.
The White Mountain Dwarf Cars also return on Saturday for Twin 20 Lap Segment competition after Jason Wyman swept both segments last time out. Jeff Ainsworth and Chad Dufour continue to be hungry for the win but if Dave Gyger has got his engine problems sorted, he’ll be one to watch on Saturday night.
Next up for White Mountain Motorsports Park is a first with the Pro Truck Challenge invading New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track for the first time with the Northern 55! The 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models, Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Bank Strictly Minis and White Mountain Dwarf Cars complete the program with a 6:00pm Post Time at the track and live on the Northeast Short Track Network (www.nestn.tv). Adult general admission will be available for $15, kids 12-6 are just $5 and children 5 and under are free plus the Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) will also be available for $30.
