Officials Release White Mountain Motorsports Park Schedule for 2026
/N. Woodstock, NH — Officials with White Mountain Motorsports Park are looking forward to plenty of Thunder in the Mountains for 2026 and have released the Schedule of Events for the coming season. Twenty exciting showcases from mid-May to late-September means there’s plenty of action to be had at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track in 2026!
Following the annual Practice Day on May 9th, the season begins in earnest with HK Powersports Opening Weekend! Starting on Saturday, May 16 with the opening round in the Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series and the annual Car Show, Saturday’s season opener will also include the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis, Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division, Caulder Construction Dwarf Cars and the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros.
The NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros will call White Mountain Motorsports Park their homebase in 2026 with eight Legend Car events and five Bandolero races planned for this season during another busy summer on the road touring to several New England facilities. The Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series will return for the Firecracker 76 on Saturday, July 4th alongside the annual Northstar Fireworks display before wrapping up on Saturday, August 15th.
HK Powersports Opening Weekend is complete with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) invasion on Sunday, May 17 which will also include the New England Supermodified Series (NESS), PASS Modifieds and the debut of the White Mountain Crown Vic division. All three PASS divisions return for the Midseason Invasion on Sunday, July 12th while the PASS Super Late Models are back for a third time on September 19th to join the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Fall Foliage alongside the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour and both the NEMA Midgets and the NEMA Lites.
The Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series begins the second week of action on Saturday, May 23rd with the Spring Board 100. The popular three-race series returns for the Kancamagus 150 on Saturday, July 25th before crowning the Wall’s Ford champion with the Leaf Peepers 100 on September 12th.
The Strictly Minis go for their annual 50-lap extra-distance affair on Saturday, May 30 while the Tiger $2K, a 100-lap, $2,000-to-win showdown for the Flying Tigers returns on June 6th. A special visit from the New England Antique Racers highlights the June 13th date just one week before NASCAR’s oldest division hits the highbanks! The Thunder in the Mountains 200 for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to White Mountain on June 20th as one of the most popular stops on the traveling circuit for these open wheeled masters!
While June rounds out with another great Saturday night of racing on the 29th, Midseason Championships come on July 11 with double points on the line as well as a visit from the New England Pro-4 Modifieds. The Modified Racing Series (MRS) returns for the first time since 2022 with the White Mountain 100 on July 18th.
August kicks off with the season’s biggest event, the 9th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 on Saturday, August 1st with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invading for the $10,000 top prize! The traveling Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns on September 19th for the 48th Fall Foliage 200 presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.
The Pro Truck Challenge Tour is back after their debut in 2025 on Saturday, August 8th followed by two weeks off for both the NASCAR Cup Weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and the 53rd Oxford 250. Officials did note that Saturday, August 22nd may be used as a possible rain date if needed.
Upon returning to racing action, the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models will crown their champion on Saturday, September 5th while the remainder of White Mountain’s weekly warriors will crown their 2026 champions on Saturday, September 26th to round out the season.
With today’s schedule announcement, updated licensing and team registration paperwork as well as 2026 rulebooks have been posted online to aid teams as they plan for the exciting upcoming season. The 2025 season will officially wrap up with the annual Banquet of Champions set for the Elks Club in Bethlehem on Friday, November 21st.
