Farmyard Store Flying Tigers Back on Top for $2,000-to-Win, 100 Lap Tiger $2K Showdown
/N. Woodstock, NH — The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers are back on top this Saturday at White Mountain Motorsports Park for the second annual Tiger $2K. With $2,000 going to the winner at the end of 100 laps, it’s sure to be a battle to the very end!
In three events so far, The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers have been the division to watch at White Mountain. Chandler Potter barnstormed to the HK Powersports 75 win on opening day, Nate Hamblett battled kidney stones and the field to take the first 35-lapper of the season the next week and young Luke Peters fought off fellow youngster Austin Sicard for last week’s win. With $2,000 on the line in this week’s 100 lap main event, it remains to be seen if veterans like Shane Sicard, Mike Clark or John Donahue can pick up the check versus the youngsters like point leader Kyle Willis, Cameron Ouellette and Owen Cheney, to name a few!
St. Johnsbury’s Kasey Beattie has kept it a consistent start in the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models and leads the fray going into week number four. Quinny Welch, last week’s winner Kyle Goodbout, Colin Cornell and Mike ‘Beetle’ Bailey are separated by just four points in second-through-fifth in the standings. Another unpredictable week lies ahead for the Late Models with fifty laps on the board and fresh Hoosier rubber on the ground!
Danville’s Jacob Roy continues to lead the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Mini standings following last week’s fifty-lap, extra distance showdown won by Tyler Thompson. Thompson is pushing hard to swim back up stream after being sidelined in the middle of the first event but has plenty of paddling left to do. Donnie Baumgardner and Kyle MacAskill have been fast every week, look for them to break into the winner’s spot for the first time this Saturday.
The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models and NELCAR Legends all return on Saturday, June 6 to complete a six-division night of excitement at White Mountain Motorsports Park.
