In a clean sweep, so far, Waterbury’s Jason Woodard leads the Central Asphalt Triple Crown standings by four points over Milton’s Sam Caron. The two top Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger aces are sure to duke it out for the win and the championship on Saturday, but don’t count out a select few. Shane Sicard, Luke Peters and Logan Powers have been coming on strong in the second half of the season in weekly competition at White Mountain and all three are certainly set to be in the mix. Other invaders, including Mike Martin, Brendan Moodie and Cam Gadue could also make things interesting in Saturday’s extra-distance action.

Multi-time King of the Mountain Quinny Welch continues to lead the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Model champion chase ahead of Kasey Beattie as the season begins to wind down into September. Welch is still hunting for his first win of the season while Beattie is playing catch-up after having to miss two races with commitments to the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour. Jaden Perry, Mike ‘Beetle’ Bailey and Mike Jurkowski are also among the top point chasers looking to take down win #1 of the season.

While McKenna Merchant won yet another Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Mini battle last time out, she still needs to gain more ground to win the war. Littleton’s Tyler Thompson continues to lead the four-cylinder masters of White Mountain while Danville’s Jacob Roy has been smooth and consistent to find himself back in second on the leaderboard. Can Merchant go three-for-three on Saturday or will someone else stand tall in victory lane?

The Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models and Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division make their return to the White Mountain highbanks along with the traveling New England Pro-4 Modifieds for full card of Saturday night racing in the Mountains.
