2nd annual Thunder in the Mountains 200 set for Saturday, June 20th at White Mountain

N. Woodstock, NH — NASCAR officials announced the 2026 Whelen Modified Tour schedule at Martinsville Speedway Thursday afternoon just ahead of the Tour’s championship event. Included in the sixteen-race schedule is the 2nd annual Thunder in the Mountains 200 at White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) on Saturday, June 20 after NASCAR’s most historic division put on yet another stellar showing in 2025.

The 2nd annual Thunder in the Mountains 200 at White Mountain Motorsports Park will be just the fourth NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event contested at the North Woodstock, New Hampshire quarter-mile. So far, Doug Coby and cousins Justin and Kyle Bonsignore have struck down wins at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track. The White Mountain appearance is also scheduled to be the lone NASCAR event in the State of New Hampshire in the month of June.

“It was great to host the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour again in 2025 and we’re very excited to have them back at White Mountain in 2026,” said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud. “The fan support is there and the Modified drivers always have so much good to say about how the track races. It’s definitely an event we’re all looking forward to.”
