20-20 Late Model $howdown and Return of the ‘King of the Kids’ Added to Packed End-of-Season at White Mountain Motorsports Park

N. Woodstock, NH — It was announced in the drivers meeting Saturday afternoon at White Mountain Motorsports Park that the 1764 Sports Bar & Grill Late Models have a little something extra to look forward to on championship Sunday. Following their King of the Mountain track championship feature on Sunday, the Late Models return for the inaugural 20-20 $hootout, a non-point invitational with $2,400 in prize money up for grabs while the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division return for the 2nd annual King of the Kids special!

The 20-20 $howdown will be a Monza-style event with the overall point total at the end of both 20-lap segments determining the finish. The invitational field will be made up of all drivers who have entered at least 80% of the 2025 season with Segment #1 lined-up by handicap and Segment #2 set by inverting the finish from the first segment. A $2,400 purse will be split among the top five finishers with the overall winner earning $1,000.

The popular ‘King of the Kids’ feature for the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division also returns on Sunday to kick off feature racing Sunday afternoon. The Kids have been a staple at White Mountain for over two decades and continue to be a launching point for many New England racing careers with 20 laps on the board this Sunday and trophies once again provided by CW Gray & Sons Auctioneers.

“We did away the Semi Feature this summer to allow Late Model teams more time to make adjustments between qualifying and their feature races,” said managing partner Cris Michaud. “We put the bonus Semi money aside and kept it together for this special end-of-year Showdown and we’re all excited to see how it adds to the already packed Championship night alongside crowning the King of the Kids!”

White Mountain Motorsports Park returns to racing action in a big way next Saturday and Sunday for an exciting close to the 2025 season.
