Woodstock, NH — After officials remained hopeful that the morning would bring with it a better outlook, Saturday’s persistent forecast continues to be unstable over White Mountain Motorsports Park. With the forecast calling for rain and sporadic thunderstorms, and with the traveling NELCAR teams in mind, White Mountain officials have opted to cancel the evening’s racing activities. Officials will discuss options for moving both the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros and the Foley Oil & Propane activities to different dates and release any pertinent information to teams and fans next week. There will be no racing at White Mountain on Saturday, June 8.

The Late Model division sponsor Foley Oil & Propane of Belmont, New Hampshire is also sponsoring Saturday night’s event AND has tacked on a $1,000 bonus to the winner of Saturday’s Late Model feature! The Prelude is a non-point, 75-lap qualifier event for the 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 American-Canadian Tour scheduled for Saturday, August 3.

Fans followed suit as well with another large crowd on hand to take in some Thunder in the Mountain to start their holiday weekend. A night of competition provided some excited, and deserved, winners a chance to grab the checkers in what continues to play out as an exciting season ahead.
