Jurkowski Takes Late Model Feature in Final Turn

N. Woodstock, NH — Barton, VT’s Shane Sicard made it two-for-two in the J.P. Sicard Inc. Triple Crown Series by winning the 75-lap Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tiger feature at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, August 14. Sicard took the lead from East Kingston, NH’s Bryan Wall Jr. on a lap-37 restart and couldn’t be touched down the stretch en route to his fourth win of the season.

Multiple Racers Planning WMMP and Thunder Road Double-Duty on Saturday-Sunday

N. Woodstock, NH & Barre, VT —The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Flying Tiger division is preparing for a huge weekend of Northeast racing. At least four drivers are planning to race on back-to-back nights at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park and Barre, VT’s Thunder Road Speedbowl in an old-school doubleheader.

Wicked Good Vintage Racers Coming to White Mountain for August 14 Event

N. Woodstock, NH —White Mountain Motorsports Park has another big Saturday night of short track racing coming this Saturday, August 14. The J.P. Sicard Triple Crown Series and the Wicked Good Vintage Racing Association highlight the card as the White Mountain season hits the three-quarter pole.

For the next two weeks, the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers have a lot on the line. The previous Triple Crown event scheduled for Saturday, July 3 was postponed by rain and rescheduled to Saturday, August 21. That means the Tigers will run 75-lap features each of the next two weeks, which is more than double the length of a regular weekly event.

Marshall, Woodard, and Smith Earn Saturday Night Wins

Woodstock, NH — Gilmanton, NH’s Tommy Smithers captured the biggest Arnold’s Wayside Diner Dwarf Car event of the season at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, August 7. Smithers took the lead early in the 50-lap main event and held off a series of challenges to score his third win this season and unofficially take over the points lead.

Woodstock, NH — Barre, VT’s Jason Corliss got the upper hand for one of the most memorable finishes in recent American-Canadian Tour (ACT) history at the Midsummer Classic 250 on Saturday, July 31. Driving the final four laps with almost no frontal vision after the hood flew up on his #66VT Burnett Motorsports Ford, Corliss still beat Center Conway, NH’s D.J. Shaw and New Salem, MA’s Tom Carey III off the final corner to win the $10,000 top prize by just 0.065 seconds at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park.
