Woodstock, NH — New Salem, MA’s Tom Carey III became the 81st different winner in ACT Late Model Tour history by taking the Caron Fabrication Spring Green at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, June 12. Carey snuck past eight-time track champion Quinny Welch in lapped traffic just before the halfway mark of the 121-lap event and then hung on in a checkered-and-yellow finish to get his first American-Canadian Tour (ACT) victory.

ACT Season Gets Back Underway with Annual Spring Green This Saturday

Waterbury, VT — The ACT Late Model Tour heads back to New Hampshire this Saturday, June 12 for Caron Fabrication Spring Green at White Mountain Motorsports Park. The final ACT event of the spring is shaping up as a big showdown featuring the Tour regulars, several weekly White Mountain standouts, and a few of the region’s top Super Late Model stars.

After four weeks off, the ACT field is anxious to get back on track. They’ll do so at the only track hosting three Tour events in 2021. The Caron Fabrication Spring Green has long been one of ACT’s most prestigious events. This Saturday is the 46th edition of the Spring Green and the 33rd ACT Late Model Tour event overall at White Mountain.

Remick Nabs Triple Crown at White Mountain

Woodard, Shannon, Smithers, and Smithers Carry Checkered Flags

N. Woodstock, NH -- Monroe, NH's Oren Remick pulled the clean sweep at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, June 5 by capturing the Triple Crown in the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models. Remick fended off Alby Ovitt and Quinny Welch in a barnburner to win the Late Model feature after also taking his heat and the semi-feature earlier in the program.

The veteran Remick rolled off the starting grid fifth due to a disappointing month of May. After spending the first stage of the event boxed in traffic, Remick surged following a lap-9 caution, knifing past rookie Zacary Fraser and polesitter Dave LaBrecque to take the lead. Eight-time "King of the Mountain" Quinny Welch of Groveton, NH wasn't far behind, sliding into second just before Fraser, Dennis Dumas, and Brockton Davis got wadded up on the backstretch to bring out the yellow with 17 laps complete.

New Stars Abound in ACT Standings at Quarter-Pole Mark

Waterbury, VT -- The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) resumes its 2021 championship campaign next Saturday, June 12 at North Woodstock, NH's White Mountain Motorsports Park with the Caron Fabrication Spring Green. As the ACT Late Model Tour sits at the quarter-pole of its season, many new stars are crashing the party against the series' established contenders.

The last six seasons have seen five different ACT champions. Four of those drivers, including Jimmy Hebert in 2020, were earning the crown for the first time. Although there are still a lot of races left this year, we could well see another name added to the ACT championship list from an impressive crop of talent.

Donahue Turns WMMP Season Around With SpringBoard 100 Win

Woodstock, NH -- Graniteville, VT's John Donahue finally turned around a miserable start to his White Mountain Motorsports Park season with a victory in the Sanel NAPA SpringBoard 100 on Saturday, May 29. "Irish John" grabbed the lead off the outside pole from rookie Laci Potter and fended off young charger Matthew Morrill down the stretch for his first win of the season.

For Donahue, a 16-time Late Model winner at Vermont's Thunder Road, it was his first Late Model win at White Mountain since 2011. The veteran had previously captured two ACT Late Model Tour events at the track along with multiple Flying Tiger victories.

Pilotte Wires the Field at WMMP in Strictly Stock Mini Special

N. Woodstock, NH -- Jefferson, NH's Nick Pilotte went wire-to-to wire to win the Woodville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini Special at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, May 22. Pilotte grabbed the lead right at the start from polesitter Jillian Baumgardner and handled a late challenge from rookie Luke Shannon to win the 50-lap main event in the first half of a doubleheader weekend.

Pilotte, who was running his first event of the year at White Mountain, earned the second starting position in qualifying. After a caution came out on the initial start for Jack Hayes' crash, Pilotte blew past Baumgardner for the top spot.
