Dedicating his win to the memory of his two grandfathers' this Father's Day Weekend, Travis Fadden not only won for the first time as a N.A.P.A.late model driver but won a triple crown. Travis Fadden had an exceptional night, winning his qualifier and then the Semi-feature. Coming out for the feature he was also pitted against ACT drivers Randy Potter and Dwayne Lampher, both well qualified and experienced drivers here at WMMP. Travis did a good job early on taking over the lead somewhere mid-race. A couple of minor caution events created a couple of restarts and allowed former track champion Stacy Cahoon to start alongside Fadden. Fadden, who had developed a bit of lead on the 2nd and 3rd place cars now had his hands full with Cahoon to his right and Bernie Lantange to his rear. Keeping his composure and having the ability to draw from, Fadden raced hard at the dropping of the green and raced hard and clean against Cahoon. Cahoon faught hard and clearly made Fadden work lap after lap, waiting patiently for Travis to faulter and fall out of pace. Fadden kept pace and held his own against this veteran driver. At the dropping of the white flag, drivers made their way into the final lap. Another veteran driver and former track champion Quinten Welch ended up in the infield after spinning out coming out of turn four. Welch was able to get himself underway and the race ended with Fadden coming out the victor. Completing the top five was Bernie Lantange in second, Stacy Cahoon in third, Jeremy Davis fourth and Dwayne Lampher fifth.
