Stacey Cahoon at the last possible moment snatched victory away from Dean Weber after a 50 lap feature here at WMMP. Dean Weber lead the race from the beginning and it looked as though this sixth place point contender was going to claim victory, giving the #30 racing team a huge shot in the arm towards the point race. With a couple of cautions, second place points leader Stacey Cahoon had made his way through the pack and was poised behind Weber on a restart. The point leader suffered a terrible blow late in the race as Quinten Welch smacked the wall on the homestretch taking his #78 car out for the night. As the last 10 laps played out, the crowd saw Cahoon go from the rear of Weber to the outside in an attempt to take the lead. Weber held his own as he maintained the groove on the inside of the track, forcing Cahoon to the outside. Coming out of turn four Cahoon took his #83 car just a little to the outside and poured on the juice, causing one of the most spectacular photo finishes I have ever seen.
