North Woodstock,NH - The 2011 racing season officially came to an end at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire, as close to 400 drivers, crewmembers, family, fans and sponsors, filled the Beacon Resort in Lincoln, New Hampshire for the 19th Award Banquet.
A fantastic prime rib buffett and all the fixings were served the banquet goers. After the great meal, it was time to honor the track champions and competitors. By the time everything was done, over $25,000 in cash and prizes was presented to the five divisions that were on hand.
Starting off the awards were the 2011 Rookies. The Woodsville Gauaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis award went to Lisa Hodgdon, Beacon Resort Strictly Stock Rookie was Lucas Wheeler and the Avery's Sweeping TigerRookie was Sean Akers.
The Kids Truck Division sponsored by Little Caesars pizza!pizza! was first to be awarded, Brandon Croteau, Ryan Olsen, Amanda Wheeler, Michael Lloyd and Nick Willis. All five of these drivers were perfect attendence.
Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank was pleased to award the Strictly Mini division with their awards. The 2011 Championship went to Kyle Willis, Jason Fallman, Lisa Hodgdon, Desirae Sicard, Travis Dickinson, Dave Driscoll, Allyssa Welch and Kerri Sicard rounded off the top nine drivers.
The Beacon Resort Strictly Stock division awarded the 2011 Championship to Elwin Sidney III, Lucas Wheeler, Jody Sicard, Brandon Allbee, Shane Sicard, Alan Sicard, Gordon Day and Jason Welch topped off the Strictly Stocks.
Avery's Sweeping was proud to award the Tiger division, 2011 Championship Jeff Huntington, Sean Akers, Tim Churchill, Michael Moore and Dave Baron were all on hand to recieve their awards.Jeff Huntington was awarded the Five Star Body Certificate.
The NAPA Late Model division awared Quinten Welch for the second time in a row with the Championship. Welch had thirteen top 5's, eleven top 3's and seven wins this season.He was awarded two certificates one from Five Star Bodies and a Shock award. Second place was Stacy Cahoon with nine top 5's, four top 3's and one win, third place went to Travis Fadden with ten top 5's, four top 3's and two win and a tripple crown. rounding off the Late Models was Tyler Cahoon, Todd Aldrich, Oren Remick, Bernie Lantagne, Michael Jurkowski,Will Avery, Jeremy Harclerode, Charlie Bodwell and Dave La Brecque.
White Mountain Motorsports Park would like to thank all for the support this race season. We will hope to see you all in May for the opening of the 20th race season.
