Racing action was threatened by scattered showers here at WMMP. The last points race of the season was capped off by a 150 lap Pro All Star Series feature event. Racing action for the P.A.S.S. began with three, 15 lap qualifiers. A semi-feature was also held and the field was set for the feature. With a couple of minor caution events during the feature, taking third at the checkers was Kelly Moore. Second place went to Ben Rowe and taking the win after leading throughout the night was Richie Dearborn. The NAPA Late Models held their final fifty lap feature tonight. The first qualifier saw Todd Aldrich take third, Tommy Smithers second and Oren Rimick the win. The second qualifier saw David Labrecque hold on to third, Donnie Lashua second and Brockton Davis the win. The third qualifier saw Quinten Welch take third, Bernie Lantange secon and Jeremy Welch the win. The semi-feature saw Donnie Lashua place third, Brockton Davis second and Tommy Smithers the win. The feature race was an exciting one, as we watched the track champion unfold. Taking third with a spectacular finish was Travis Fadden. This next driver lead the track for most of the night having a good run in his qualifier and semi but lost the lead at the final seconds was Tommy Smithers. In a spectacular finish and winning the feature was Todd Aldrich, who dedicated his win in a speech wraught with emotion to his grandfather. Coming out onto the track to be recognized the 2009 NAPA Late Model Track Champion was Stacy Cahoon, who delighted the crowd with a burnout.
The Shuttle Connection Super Street Division held a 10 lap qualifer with Gerald Griswold placing third, Cam Clairmont second and Tim Churchill the win. They lined up for the thirty lap feature and when all was said and done, Craig Roy placed third with Cam Clairmont second and the win along with the Track Championship went to Tim Churchill.
The Beacon Resort Strictly Stocks held a ten lap qualifier with Steve Parker taking third, Alex Kelly second and Tom Keith the win. The feature was 25 laps in length with third place going to Alex Kelly. Second place and the track Championship went to Steve Parker and the feature win went to David Baron.
The Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini Division held a 10 lap qualifier with William Hennequin taking third, Rubin Call second and Opie Thayer the win. The twenty lap feature began a little shaky, with the point leaders making their way through traffic to dominate the field. Finishing third was Nick Pillotte, second and the Championship went to Opie Thayer and the feature win went to Rubin Call, who announced during victory lane he would be taking a year off from racing.
The HK Powersports Kids Truck Division finished out the year strong with an eight lap qualifier. Third went to Cameron Ouellette, second went to Brandon Bourne and the win went to Connor McDougal. The fifteen lap feature went off smoothly with Cameron Ouellette placing third again, Second went to Connor McDougal and the win went to Lucas Wheeler.
