Practice had been completed, the crowd was filing in and the race teams were all set to go this past Saturday night at WMMP in North Woodstock. Unfortunately, for the third time in five weeks, Mother Nature put on the biggest show of the weekend, forcing cancellation of the racing events for the second time this season.
The ACT Late Model 150 event scheduled for Saturday June 22nd has been rescheduled for Saturday Night July 13th beginning at 6 PM. Also on the racing card will be the White Mountains Community College Tiger/Sportsman, the Kingdom Trailer Strictly Stocks, the Twisted Tea Dwarf Cars, the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, and the Dad's 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Truck Division. All fans will be allowed back into the ACT event with their grandstand ticket stub and race teams in the pit area can get in using their bracelets.
Racing returns to the White Mountain high banks this coming weekend, with all six of the Park's racing divisions in action, starting at 5 PM. Pit gates open at 1 PMwith practice at 3 PM.
On Saturday July 6th, its a fourth of July celebration with NAPA Auto Parts and R&R Fire Works presenting the $1500 to win NAPA 100 beginning at 6 PM.
Lap sponsorships are currently underway for businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring laps at $25 a lap. Purchase two laps and you will receive a ticket to get into the event. Laps 25, 50, 75, and 100 are $100 laps an will go directly to the driver that is leading the race on that lap. Lap sponsors will be placed on a lap board at the entrance to the speedway and will also be recognized throughout the night through public address announcements.
