Sometimes you save the best for last, and that is exactly what the weatherman did at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire. After trying for three weekends, finally number three was the lucky charm as one of the best days for racing provided for some great action at the track.
Tyler Cahoon won the regular season finale at WMMP in the Late Models. Well, he went one step further at the open comp show and raced home to a hard fought victory in the 100 lapper. Cahoon was followed by Star Speedways, George Baldwin, and then three WMMP regulars, Bryan Mason, Ray Johnson and Pete Fraser.
Lee Speedway regular, Lee Whitten Jr. conquered the Super Street 75 lapper, as he held off Claremont's, Joe Lanou, Lee's, Joe Deheny, WMMP's, Doug Laleme and Beech Ridge Speedway's, Joe Hennessey.
Claremont Speedway speedster, Chris Bergeron won a hard fought battle over Hudson's, Jay Coulter in the Strictly Street 50 lap main. Lee's, Todd Bregy, Canaan's, Erik Smith and Lee's, Hans Meir followed the winner to the stripe.
Rick Shifflett took a hard fought win over Brady Therrien in the 30 lap Strictly Mini finale, grabbing the lead on lap 26 and never looked back. Mike Richards Jr., Jeff Ramsdell and Sean Akers followed the front two home.
