With Mother Nature finally taking the night off, White Mountain Motorsports Park was able to get the whole show in with the NAPA Late Models batling it out for 100 laps and $1000 to win. Not to be outdone the other four weekly divisions put on spectacular shows in their own right. Overall it was a great night of racing all the way around at the N. Woodstock speedplant with great weather and a huge crowd on hand to witness some blistering hot racing.

Despite the drains on both ends of the infield at the N. Woodstock speedplant, the plug has once again been pulled on racing in the White Mountains. This gives Mother Nature three big wins this year and they have not been popular ones by any account. Rain is forecast for most of the day and into the evening in Northern New Hampshire, which has forced the hand of the Avery's to call it all off once again.

After a brief rain delay that cut practice short, the sun came out and brightened things up for what turned out to be an awesome night of highly competitive racing. The highlight of the night being the return of the American Canadien Tour Championship Late Model Sportsmen, who made their lone visit to White Mountain Motorsports Park for the 2011 racing season. Although riddled by several cautions, the racing was furious to qualify for the 3rd annual New Hampshire Motor Speedway Invitational on September 24 in Loudon, NH.

On a warm but breezy evening, White Mountain Motorsports Park put event number two of the 2011 campaign in the books. With a good crowd on hand as well as a great field of cars in the pits, racing got underway with much anticipation of a great show by both fans and competitors. Several new cars were in the pits this night and the competition on the track did not fail to disappoint, as the twilight start seemed to suit all in attendance.

After a week long delay thanks to mother nature and the rain, White Mountain Motorsports Park threw open the gates on the 2011 season with it's five regular divisions in action. It was a warm and humid night with the action on the highbanks of N. Woodstock turning out to be about as intense and action-packed as it could be for an opening night.

Thanks to Mother Nature flexing her muscles last weekend, combined with the bsuy schedules of both the PASS Series and White Mountain Motorsports Park, we are going to be unable to reshedule the PASS race from last season. However, the PASS Series is scheduled to make two mor stops at the N. Woodstock speedplant before the season ends. The PASS super late models, as well as the PASS modifieds will take to the highbanks on Sunday Aug, 28, as well as again on Saturday Sept. 24th.

With the PASS Super Late Models rolling into town, ready to kick off the season at White Mountain Motorsports Park, Mother Nature has taken over for the day, washing the rubber off the track and turning the infield into something of a swamp. Added to the rain we have gotten all week, it has turned out to be a bit much for the N. Woodstock speedplant.

With much anticipation and high expectations, drivers, crews, fans and car owners alike took to the frontstretch to view and judge the iron that will do battle on the highbanks in N. Woodstock. There were many new faces and cars on hand as the five divisions stretched from turn three all the way around to turn one. Likewise, new and beautiful paint schemes stretched from one end of the speedplant to the other.

After a disastrous slide up the racetrack into the frontstretch retaining wall that cut his season short in 2010, Oren Remick will return to the N. Woodstock highbanks of White Mountain Motorsports Park in 2011. With two things in mind, winning a number of features and chasing the championship. That puts him in good company seeings how thats what everybody else has in mind in the NAPA late model sportsman division.

Being that 2011 marks his tenth year behind the wheel of a NAPA late model sportsman, Tyler Cahoon is poised for the 2011 season and is ready to make some more noise in the NAPA late model sportsman standings at White Mountain Motorsports Park. With a new motor under the hood and the experience gained from the 2010 season, counting out the St. Johnsbury native could be a big mistake.
