The White Mountain Motorsports Park racing family lost a true friend earlier this week. Mary Anne Lantagne beloved wife to Late Model driver Bernie Lantagne passed away Monday morning surrounded by her family. A ceremony will take place on Friday July 13th at 2 PM at the McIndoe Falls Church and is open to all. A gathering will take place at the family immediately following the ceremony where people can share their sympathies and their life stories. ACT Tour driver, Randy Potter chased down St Johnsbury Vermontís Stacy Cahoon on lap 63 taking control of the 100 lap event, and then raced his way through lapped traffic to earn a huge victory in the inaugural running of the Berlin City Auto Group 100 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock Saturday.

White Mountain Motorsports Park owners Donnie and Teri Avery are pleased to announce that there will be Dwarf car racing at the Park beginning with a race date on July 14th. The open wheeled race cars are powered by 600-1000cc motorcycle engines and attain top speeds comparable to that of the Late Model division.
“These Dwarf car drivers put on one whale of a show,” said WMMP’sJean LeBlanc. “The interest in the Dwarf cars has grown over the last couple of seasons and the White Mountain fans will be in for a real treat. I know that the current group of racers has been looking to race at some different facilities and what better venue then watching these mini rocket ships, to turn in some fast laps at the White Mountain Motorsports Park. The Avery family is looking forward to their up-coming events with the Dwarf cars.”

Doverís Wayne Helliwell Jr led all 150 laps of the ACT event held at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday in North Woodstock, NH, making a serious statement as the top threat to garner the 2012 series championship. Other winners on the evening, included Brandon Croteau, Nick Pilotte, Gerald Griswold, and Marshfield Vermontís Chandler Potter.

There will be plenty of fireworks on and off the race track at White Mountain Motorsports Park North Woodstock, NH on Saturday night July seventh. Track owners Donnie and Terri Avery are pleased to announce that the Berlin City Auto Group in Gorham NH has signed on as the primary sponsor for the 100 lap $1500 to win Late Model race for the fireworks on the racing surface. Off the oval, R&R Fireworks out of Bethlehem, NH will be teaming up with WMMP to provide the area with one of the largest fireworks display and grand finale that the Valley has ever seen. Add to the list of special events for that date, that the kids pit tours will also take place prior to the start of racing and the evening has the billing as a must see event.

N. Woodstock, NH- After losing a night of competition to rain, White Mountain Motorsports Park opened Saturday night under ideal racing conditions. The action on the track was furious all night long in all divisions, seeing many new faces in victory lane. The heated action started in the qualifiers and carried through until the last checkered flag went in the air. Adding to the excitement was the presence of the New England Antique Racers in town for their exhibition race.

North Woodstock NH (5/27) Cassius Clark made an early outside charge in Saturday nights Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North 150 to capture the lead and score the super late model feature win at White Mountain Motorsports Park. Joey Polewarczyk earned the second spot with defending series champion Johnny Clark third, DJ Shaw fourth and Travis Benjamin fifth.

With high expectations, a lot of excitement and a pit full of cars, White Mountain Motorsports Park threw open the gates Saturday night for its first night of competition in its 20th season of competition. With the Pro All Star Series Super Late Models in town for their first visit in 2012 and a huge crowd on hand for a late afternoon start, temperatures in the high 70’s the conditions were right for some fantastic action on the racetrack.
