NAPA BLUE & GOLD 250 WEEKEND
ON TAP SEPTEMBER 15TH & 16TH
The regular season was wrapped up at White Mountain Motorsports Park powered by the Autosaver Group in North Woodstock, New Hampshire this past Saturday night as champions were crowned and records established on the final regular event of the season. Winners included Jesse Switser, Colin Cornell, Dustin Jackson, Tommy Smithers and Tyler Thompson.

The Foley Oil & Propane Late Models had their largest field of cars for a regular event this year as twenty-one racecars attempted to make the final 50 lapper of the season. Jesse Switser scored his second win of the season in fine fashion as he claimed the coveted Triple Crown sweep as he won his heat, the bonus semi-feature and the main event. Switser lead the entire way, and dominated at times before taking checkers as the race ended under caution. Oren Remick challenged Switser on a couple of restarts but didn't quite have enough juice to get by and settled for second ahead of Quinney Welch, Stacy Cahoon, and Stephen Donahue. Sixth through tenth included Jerry Lesage, Jeff Marshall, Ryan Olsen, Chris Pelkey and Mike Olsen. Heat checkers flew for Switser, Remick and Chris Roberts. Quinney Welch earned his 7th Late Model championship and Matt Morrill was named Rookie of the Year.

Colin Cornell made a successful return to WMMP's, Wells River Chevrolet Tiger division after spending this season racing at Thunder Road in Barre. Cornell raced to the front early in the event, and then held off a heated challenge from multi-time feature winner, Justin Eldridge. Christian Laflamme raced home third ahead of Kaleb Rogers and Shane Sicard. Unfortunately Eldridge was DQ'd for a fly wheel infraction bumping up the teams behind him, and putting Nathaniel Parkin up to the fifth spot. Heat checkers went to Kaleb Rogers. Shane Sicard captured his first Tiger championship and Nathaniel Parkin won the Rookie of the Year title.

Dustin Jackson took no prisoners in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini's feature as he dusted the field leaving James Stone, Jason Fallman, Rusty Drew III and John Knight to battle for runner-up honors. Drew and Nate Walton won the preliminary races. Adam Sicard was crowned track champion and Rusty Drew III won the top rookie award.

Tommy Smithers defeated Norm Forest, Andy Hill, Ethan Tyrrell, and Bobby Brown in the Bank of New Hampshire Dwarf Car feature. Smithers also won the qualifying event. An emotional Andy Hill accepted the championship laurels, while Ethan Tyrrell was named Rookie of the Year.

Tyler Thompson set a record for most wins in a single season as he put win number eleven in the record books in the Dad's 4 By Tool & Supply Kid's Truck division. Luke Peters recovered for second spot after flipping his truck in practice. Ryan Bevins whom was involved with Peter's incident rallied for third ahead of Owen Rogers and Jillian Baumgardner.

You are all invited to the biggest birthday party in the history of White Mountain Motorsports Park powered by the Autosaver Group, the 25th Anniversary, NAPA Blue & Gold 250 Weekend featuring the $10,000 to win, $1,000 to start, 250 lap Late Model race scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, September 15th & 16th.
