As the weeks wind down the racing get more phenomenal with the intense point battles that are going on. If you were not at WMMP on Saturday night you surely missed out on some of the best racing so far this year. Only 3 point events left, so make sure to mark your calendars to attend Wmmp for the next 3 weeks.

The Dad's 4 by Tool & Supply kids truck division has seen some growth over the past few weeks, with a few new young ladies joining us. The #27 truck of Robby Gordon Douglas started in the rear of the field once again, and managed to make his way through traffic to once again capture the win. Nathaniel Parkin, #88x, finished 2nd and Nate Walton rounded out the podium with a 3rd place finish.

22 Wells River Chevy Tigers took to the 1/4 mile asphalt oval for their main event. Current point leader Shane Sicard went into the evening only 5 points separating him from 2nd place Matt Morrill. These gentlemen started in the rear of the field and got stuck mid pack for several laps, causing them to both finish in the middle of the field. After a 13 year retirement from racing Randy Dockham, #94, has been racing like he hasn't missed a race. He worked the outside groove for several laps which eventually landed him the big win of the night. Steve Heitz, #99, got tangled up when he was leading causing a piece of sheet metal to drag on the drivers side of his car but that did not slow him down, after a few restarts he drove his car home to a 2nd place. And for the first time this year, with nothing but smiles, Dave Allbee worked hard and raced to a 3rd place.

The Woodsivlle Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini's was a show to watch, especially at the end of the race. There were a few new drivers that joined us for the evening, Ray Eames came all the way from Largo Florida, he landed at the airport at 2pm and went straight to the track to jump in his ride for the evening. Christian Laflamme, #10, held onto the lead for several laps until current point leader Scott Corey caught Laflamme on the outside. The 2 made contact leaving the door open for the 37 of Dustin Jackson to jump to the inside and get around both drivers. Christian Laflamme lost the win by just a nose to Dustin Jackson. Scott Corey finished 3rd. The end of the race saw Jackson and Corey get heated at one another in the heat of the moment, but all ended well.

WOW!!! EXCITING!!! EDGE OF YOUR SEAT!!! ON YOUR FEET!!! HEART POUNDING!!! That's the best way to describe the NAPA late model 50 lap feature. Several Caution flags flew throughout the race for spin outs. The #20 of Richie Brown had a loose handling racecar that caused him to go around a few times. One of our top point men Flooring Oren Remick also had a few spins. This caused a scoring discussion at the conclusion of the race to decipher if Remick was a lap down or not. Jerry Lesage #27 joined us a few weeks ago and was able to maintain his spot on the track to come with his first win this year at Wmmp. Point leader Quinny Welch battled with Oren Remick at the end of the race, and this caused tempers to fly. There was some paint swapping and bumping after the conclusion of the race. With the scoring discrepancy we went on with victory lane honoring the top 2 spots of Lesage and Welch. It was later determined Remick was not a lap down and he finished the night with a 3rd place finish.
