A packed house was treated to some red hot racing this past Saturday night at White Mountain Motorsports Park, powered by the Autosaver Group in North Woodstock, New Hampshire. Jesse Switser defeated a solid field of Late Models, while Kaleb Rogers, Colby Bourgeous and Owen Rogers were also victorious on the night.

Quinney Welch came from his twelfth starting spot in just 22 laps to lead the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model 100 and looked to be an easy winner as broke open to a full straightaway lead. Then several cautions for minor incidents kept the field bunched up and Stacy Cahoon took the point at the midway mark with Welch, Switser, Stephen Donahue and Jerry Lesage in tow. Welch regained the lead on lap 57 and had Switser all over his back bumper. Switser raced by on lap 64 and the race was on. Every thought Welch had enough to get back by and would make a charge late in the race, but Switser hung tough and with the help of some heavy lapped traffic he went on to win the biggest race of his young career. Incidentally it was his first time in a racecar in 2018. Welch settled for second ahead of Donahue, Lesage and Cahoon. Ryan Olsen, Jonathan Lemay, Oren Remick, Paul Newcomb and Scott Corey rounded out the top ten. Heat checkers flew for Matt Morrill and Welch.

It was also a big night of racing for the Wells River Chevrolet Tigers as they ran Triple 25's. John Donahue coasted to victory in segment #1, while Steve Heitz scored an impressive win in segment #2. Young Kaleb Rogers took the checkers in segment #3 and scored the overall win over Donahue, Heitz, Shane Sicard and Michael Potter.

Colby Bourgeous grabbed the lead from Adam Sicard on lap 12 and picked up his first career win in the eighteen car, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini's. Adam Sicard, Keri Sicard, John Knight and Dustin Jackson followed the winner to the stripe. Scott Senecal and Bourgeous won their respective heat races.

The streak is over for young Tyler Thompson in the Dad's 4 By Tool & Supply Kid's Trucks as Owen Rogers grabbed his career first feature ahead of Luke Peters, Thompson, Jillian Baumgardner and Ryan Bevins. Thompson had been undefeated prior to Saturday night's main event. He did capture the lone qualifier.

Kudos go out to Ruth & Russ Holmes of R&R Fireworks from Bethlehem, New Hampshire for putting on a spectacular fireworks display. It was an incredible display of color and noise that completely kept the crowd mesmerized.
