From the first green flag to the last checkered flag the racing was
intense on
June 18th.
The Twisted Tea Dwarf Cars went into the night with a very close
point battle. Only 16 points separating the top 6 cars. "Uptown"
Tommy Smithers got tangled up in a wreck in his qualifier
sending him scrambling downtown to find a new radiator. He was
able to get the radiator changed and able to return for the main
event. It was a wild one. With only a few laps to go, Jason
Wyman made contact with another driver and sent the field
scrambling. This sent Dave Gyger #93 air born rolling his car,
coming to rest on his roof. Thankfully Gyger was ok. "Downtown"
Bobby brown also involved in this wreck and went to the pit area
on the hook. Tough break for several drivers. Once the green
flew once again the battle continued on the track for a few
short laps, when all the dust settled we saw a very happy Jim
Wentworth #26 take home the win. The #29 of Mark Wiggett came
home 2nd and Justin Marsan in the #4 finished out the podium
with a 3rd place finish.

mission as he crossed the finish line in the top spot. The #27
truck of Robby Gordon Douglas saw victory lane once again in the
2nd positon and round out the top 3 was the #88 " The Green

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini division had a
few new faces running up front most of the night. The racing is
action packed in the division. Definitely leaving the fans
waiting till the last lap to see who will come out on top. Our

very happy gentlemen carrying the checkered flag, Scott Senecal
in the #17 took home the win. The 2nd place finisher has not
placed out of the top 3 since this year, Scott Corey in the

20 Wells River Chevy Tigers started the main event. This race
never seems to have enough laps as they battle door handle to
door handle lap after lap, bumping the back bumpers of the cars
in front of them to let their team mates know they are there. If
you haven't been to the track this year to watch the races this
is definitely one race you don't want to miss. The #77 machine of
Andrew "Bam" Wright caught on fire, speedway safety crews were
quickly on scene extinguishing the fire. Hopefully there wasn't
much damage and Wright will be back next weekend. Once the laps
quickly came to end Steven Heitz in car #99 was victorious.
Current Point leader Shane Sicard, #4, brought home 2nd. The #9
of Matt Morrill finished out the podium with a solid 3rd place
finish.

The fans were on their feet for the entire 50 lap Napa Late
Model Feature. A good points battle going into the evening. "
Flooring" Oren Remick sat in the 2nd place point spot going into
the night but Remick didn't run with us this weekend as he
decided to run the ACT event held at Speedway 51 in Groveton,
Nh. This shuffled the points battle up a little bit. The #3 of
Bernie Langtane took a hard hit into the backstretch wall ending
his night early. Thankfully he was ok and we hope to have him
back this coming weekend. The racing was second to none. Quinny
Welch and Stacy Cahoon battled hard lap after lap. Some paint
was swapped, they leaned on each other but both of these
gentlemen congratulated each other in victory lane and said that
they love racing with each other and that's the way racing is
supposed to be done, a little bumping and giving each other the
room needed and knowing when to back off. The Cahoon, #83, fans
on their feet cheering on Cahoon as he came home with the 1st
place hardware. Quinny Welch in the 78 car came home second and
his first time in victory lane this year finishing 3rd was the
#2 of Mike Clark.
