The weather was perfect, the racing even better for race #3 of 19 of the 2016 racing season. It was very humid and hot Saturday night making for some sticky asphalt, which the racecars really liked. The cars handled and their drivers were able to make their cars go where they wanted them to. As the weeks go by the racing gets better due to the faster drivers starting in the rear of the field and having to work their way through traffic to try and make their way to the front of the field.

The Dad’s 4 by Tool and Supply Kids truck divison saw Robby Gordon Douglas take home the win for the 3rd week in a row. Nate Walton came home 2nd and Matt Frey finished 3rd.

This next division wasn’t given the name Tigers for nothing. The 19 car field kept everyone wanting more racing as the checkered flag flew. These guys raced hard, door handle to door handle. This week the Well River Chevy Tigers proved to be one of their best races thus far. As the point battles begin the faster cars are having to start in the rear, which makes for some edge of your seat racing. Current point leader Shane Sicard was first across the stripe. Matt Morrill came home 2nd and after a 13 year retirement from racing, this gentlemen is proving he has not lost his touch, finishing in the 3rd position was Randy Dockham.

It was also the Kids Favorite Driver Poster Night. About 25 youngsters participated. Each child that made a poster had the opportunity to go down onto the track during victory lane to present their drivers with the posters. The kids got their pictures taken with the driver and were each given a tube of bubbles. Congrats to all the participants.
